The file system is the location where the documents on the FileOrbis application reside, this path set during the installation or can be changed after installation. NTFS, Amazon S3, SharePoint, OpenStack Swift, MS One Drive, Google Drive, Azure Blob Storage,Del EMC OneFS, SFTP or FTP can be connected as File System. It is possible to define different configurations and users for each path field.
|Profiles||It is the area where profile data is kept.|
|Document Path||It is the area where documents are kept.|
|Download Links Path||This is where the data of download links are kept.|
|Deleted Objects Directory Path||It is the area where deleted data is kept.|
|Permanently Deleted Items Path||It is the area where the permanently deleted data is kept.|
|Temporary||These are temporary areas where files are uploaded first.|
|Thumbnail||It is the small visual area held by the Thumbnail service in the system.|
|Image||It is the area where customizable logos are added.|
|Add-Ons||This is where attachments are kept.|
|AppData||It is the temporary area where the systemic data required by the application is written.|
Necessary configurations can be set from the setting button next to each path.
Access and System Manager fields will be customized according to the selected file system. The desired data should be entered according to the selection.
Azure Blob Storage Integration
If NTFS is selected, the file system can be kept encrypted if desired. For this, the Encrypting File System field must be activated from the Access area. The encryption will start as soon as the Enabling File System field is activated. It will not include files previously added to the system.
A local or private user can be specified as the file system administrator. If a custom user is selected, the user login type for NTFS must be specified with the required access information. Login Type is not required for file systems other than NTFS.
When Amazon S3 or OpenStack Swift is selected as the file system, editing cannot be made in the Role field, all privileges are the same as the File System Administrator privileges entered.
The version structure also varies according to the selected file system.
If Check User Authority feature is turned on, user authorization is performed by FileOrbis instead of the file system.
